10/22/09 Episode

~The contestants on this episode were Randie Kim, Paul Christianson, and the one day champ with $19,410, Jen McFan.
~ Randie received the first daily double. She bet $1,000. The question was: “Love Apple” is an old name for this popular salad ingredient. The answer was tomato and she got it wrong.
~ At the end of the first round Randie was in third with $2,400, Paul was in second with $3,200, and Jen was in first with $5,000.
~ Randie also found the second daily double. She wagered $2,800. The question was: With his symbolized number 451 on his solid head. The answer was Ray Bradbury and she got it right.
~ Paul got the third daily double. He bet $ 5,200. The question was: Upon his return from India in 1499 he was received by King Philip I. The answer was Vasco de Gamma and he got it wrong.
~ At the end of the second round Paul was in last place with -$2,000, Jen was in second with $11,600, and Randie was in first with $14,800.
~ The topic of Final Jeopardy was U.S Science Cities. The question was: This California city has the honor of being the only one in the U.S to have an element named for it. Paul could not play Final Jeopardy because he was in the negative. Jen answered Berkeley and she was right. She wagered $5,000 and ended up with $16,600. Randie answered Berkeley and was correct. She wagered $8,401 and ended up with $23,201. Randie was the winner.
