The Celebrity Invitational

~ The contestants were Robin Quivers, Jane Kaczmarek, and Julie Bowen.
~ Robin was playing for the Seed School which is a charter school. Jane was playing for Clothes Off Our Back which sells celebrity clothes and memorabilia and the money goes to children. Juli was playing for Michael J. Fox foundation which is for Parkinson's.
~ No one found the first daily double.
~ Julie found the second daily double. She bet $5,100. The question was: This type of healer who adjusts and aligns you was created in 1565. The answer was Chiropractor and she got it right.
~Jane found the third daily double. She bet $5,000. The question was: Marcello fetches a doctor, but Mimi still dies in this Opera. The answer was La Bohem and she got it right.
~ The topic of Final Jeopardy was Film Directors. The question was: His work of the 1930's and 1940's is so associated with sentimentality that his name is often combined with "corn". The answer was Frank Capra. Jane is the only won who got it right and she was the winner. Robin and Julie both won $25,000 for their charities.

11/18/09 Episode

~ The contestants were Jarret Izzo, Drusha Mussmann , and the three day champ Chris Rodriguez.
~ Jarret found the first daily double. He bet $1,400. The question was: Cross and sword Florida official state play was created to reenact this city's founding in 1565. The answer was Saint Augustine and he got it right.
~ Jarret found the second daily double. He bet $2,000. The question was: It made it's maiden flight in March, but didn't break the sound barrier until October. The answer was the Concord and he got it right.
~ Drusha found the third daily double. She bet $2,990. The question was: "At length did cross an albatross through the fog". The Rhime of the Ancient Mariner was the answer and she got it right.
~The topic of Final Jeopardy was the 18th Century. The question was: If the Earl of Chesterfelb had not gotten England to adopt this he would have died on March 13th instead of March 24th. The answer was the Gregorian Calender. Chris and Jarret got it right. Jarret was the winner.

11/16/09 Episode

~ The contestants were Melissa Paye Mose, Scott Wells, and the one day champ with $7,999, Chris Rodriguez.
~ Scott found the first daily double. He bet $2,000. The question was: That which is done is that which shall be done under this. The answer was the sun and he got it wrong.
~ Chris found the second daily double. He bet $1,600. The question was: 2009 bio called this labor secretary the woman behind the New Deal. The answer was Francis Perkins and he got it wrong.
~ Chris found the third daily double. He bet $1,000. The question was: As an adjective it means friendly as a noun it is a strong drink. Th answer was Cordial and he got it wrong.
~ The topic of Final Jeopardy was Classic Songs from Movies. The question was: 6 word title of the song that says "For the house fell on her head and the coroner pronounced her dead". The answer was Ding Dong the Witch Is Dead. Melissa and Chris got it right. Chris won.

Teen Tournament: Semifinals Episode 3

~ The contestants were Rachel Rothenberg, Gabe Orlet, and Lindsay Oxx.
~ At the end of Jeopardy Lindsay was in third with -$400, Gabe was in second with $1,400, and Rachel in first with $7,200.
~At the end of Double Jeopardy Lindsay had $4,000, Gabe had $11,800, and Rachel had $15,900.
~The Final Jeopardy question was: This peninsula was divided when Japan surrendered to the U.S below the 38th parallel and to the Soviet Union north of it. All of them answered correctly with Korea. Lindsay ended up with $7,999. Gabe ended up with $23,598. Rachel ended up with $23,600. Rachel was the winner.

Teen Tournament: Semifinals Episode 2

~ The contestants were Solomon Howard, Will Dantzler, and Gabriel Johnson.
~ Gabriel found the first daily double. He bet $5,200. The question was: This is an ostensible reason put forward to conceal true meaning. The right answer was pretext and he got it wrong.
~ At the end of the first round Solomon was in third with -$400, Gabriel was in second with $1,200, and Will was in first with $4,400.
~Gabriel found the second daily double. He bet $1,400. The question was: In Song of Roland, this code asked knights to keep faith. The right answer was the Code of Chivalry and he got it wrong.
~ Solomon found the last daily double. He bet $2,000. The question was: In December 1941 this battleship sank in less than nine minutes with 1,177 crew aboard. He answered the Arizona and was correct.
~ The topic of Final Jeopardy was Architecture. The question was: De Maupassant Zola, and Dumas Fils were among those signing a petition decrying it as "a gigantic...factory chimney". They all answered correctly with the Eiffel Tower. Solomon wagered $600 and ended up with $3,000. Gabriel wagered $15,000 and ended up with $30,000. Will wagered $12,401 and ended up with $30,001. Will was the winner.

~ Aidan found the second daily double. He bet $800. The question was: The restaurant chain is the title of a Catherine Gilbert Murdocks novel about D.J Schwenck. The answer was Dairy Queen and he got it wrong.

~ At the end of the second round Hema was in third with $4,600, Zach was in second with $19,800, and Aidan was in first with $23,000.

Hema answered Moses and was wrong. She wagered $4,600 and ended up with $0. Zach answered David and was right. He wagered $10,399 and ended up with $30,399. Aidan answered David too. He wagered $16,601 and ended up with $39,601. Aidan was the winner.

Teen Tournament: Week 1 Episode 2

~ The contestants were Kennedy Stomps, Samantha Reback, and Zach Blumenfeld.
~ Zach found the first daily double. He bet $2,000. The question was: As a boy in Kansas his boyhood dream was to be a major league baseball player. He really ended up joining the army. He answered Eisenhower and was correct.
~ At the end of the first round Kennedy had $800, Samantha had $3,600, and Zach had $9,600.
~ Kennedy found the second daily double. She bet $800. The question was: In this old Testament book God orders Mosses to count all of the Israelites that can hold arms. The correct answer was Numbers and she got it wrong.
~ Zach received the last daily double. He bet $4,000. The question was: This country's official languages include German, French, and Italian. He answered Switzerland and was right.
~ At the end of the second round Kennedy had $4,400, Samantha had $6,800, and Zach had $32,800.
~ The topic of Final Jeopardy was Numbers and Letters. The question was: It's the world's most common number system and second most common alphabet. They all answered correctly with Arabic. Kennedy wagered $2,200 and ended up with $6,600. Samantha wagered $6,798 and ended up with $13,598. Zach wagered $19,199 and ended up with $51,999. Zach was the winner and will move on to next week.

Teen Tournament: Week 1 Episode 1

~This was the first episode of the teen tournament. It will last two weeks. the five winners and the four contestants who have the highest amount of money move on to next week.
~The contestants were Emily Lever, Bonny Jain, and Will Dantzler.
~Will found the first daily double. He wagered $3,000. The question was: Louis and Clark began their expedition on May 14, 1804 by traveling up this river on a keel boat. The correct answer was the Missouri and he got it right.
~ At the end of the first round Emily was in third place with $2,600, Bonny was in second with $3,200, and Will was in first with $9,800.
~ Will found the second daily double. He bet $4,000. The question was: What was the memory erasing fruit that was eaten by Odysseus's men. The answer was lotus and he got it wrong.
~ Will also found the last daily double. He bet $3,000. The question was: Two historic books in the Old Testament. He answered Kings and was correct.
~ At the end of the second round Emily was in third with $8,600, Bonny was in second with $10,400, and Will was in first with $20,000.
~ The topic of Final Jeopardy was Historic Americans. The question was: On July 11, 1804 he gasped to his doctor "this is a mortal wound". He died the next day. Emily answered Alexander Hamilton and was right. She wagered 3,000 and ended up with $11,600. Bonny answered Burr and was wrong. He wagered $6,266 and ended up with $4,134. Will answered Hamilton and was right. He wagered $801 and ended up with $20,801. Will was the winner.
